Commercial Roof Repair

Commercial Roof Repair

At Pyramid Waterproofing, we are committed to helping you with all your commercial roof repair needs. When there is a leak in your roof, resolving that issue goes to the top of your priority list. If the leak is not resolved, it can turn into extensive damage and cost you thousands. Leaks and water damage can also become a hazard for the building occupants as it can lead to mold which is dangerous for human health.

When do you need a new roof or roof repair?

If your roof or building is showing the following signs, it is a good idea to have your roof checked out. Our team can help you decide if it’s time for a new roof, if repairs can be made, and what options are available. Having a roof inspection performed at least twice a year and after intense storms is always a good idea to catch damage from becoming massive issues. The best time to stop a leak is before it occurs. Preventative maintenance is one of the most important things you can do for your roof’s longevity.

  • Odors – If you smell anything musty or moldy, it could be a sign that your roof is leaking. Mold grows in damp, moist conditions. If there is a leak and the drywall or installation hasn’t had time to dry out, it could be a breeding ground for mold.
  • Water Damage – If you see any water stains on the ceiling or walls, it is a good idea to have your roof inspected for leaks.
  • Bubbles in the Roof Surface – If you see air pockets forming in your roof’s membrane, it could be cause for concern. When a roof is damaged, air can get caught between the layers causing these blisters. Depending on the extent of the bubble, our experts can recommend repairs or a new roofing system like single ply.
  • Standing Water or Sagging Roof – When rainwater becomes too heavy and forms standing puddles on your roof, it can make your roof begin to sag. If not dealt with, it will lead to further damage or roof failure. The drainage system will also need to be checked to ensure that it is not the cause of standing water.
  • Loose or Broken Roofing Materials – Whether it’s after a big storm or just a normal day, if anything looks loose or broken on your roof it is time for repairs. Depending on your roof’s age and condition, it may need a completely new roof system or repairs.

Single Ply

Single Ply is a complete roofing system made up of a strong, flexible membrane that’s also lightweight. It is installed on low-sloped roofs. It is not only waterproof but also weather-resistant in all conditions and temperatures. It has a lifetime of up to 50 years. There are a few different types of single ply roofing systems so our team can help you decide which is best for your building.

No matter what your concern is, our team can help you decide what commercial roofing repair options are best for your building. We have installed single ply roofing systems on many buildings in the Houston area. Check out some of our recent work here
